Enhancing Company Address Fields: First Name and Last Name Added

We’re enhancing the company location address structure by introducing new fields First Name and Last Name. These updates aim to improve data organization and streamline the integration of company information into orders.

What’s Changing?

Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

• The company location address now includes two new fields: First Name and Last Name, alongside the existing Company/attention field.
• The First Name and Last Name fields will automatically copy over to the same fields on Orders.
• The Company/attention field will now copy directly to the Orders' Company field.

Adjustments to Existing Data

Changes have been made to existing company addresses to ensure a seamless transition:

• Content from the previous Attention field has been moved into the new Last Name field for improved accuracy.
• If the Attention field content matched a company contact's name, it has been sorted into the new First Name and Last Name fields.
• The Company name has been copied into the Company/attention field for consistency across records.

Why This Matters

This update strengthens the ability to manage company data more effectively, enabling orders to reflect more granular contact details and ensuring records are organized more intuitively.
