Managing payouts and bank deposits just got easier for merchants using Shopify Payments. With recent updates to Shopify's export functionality, you can now quickly identify which transactions are included in each payout and match them to your bank deposits seamlessly.
Key Updates to Shopify Payments
In response to feedback from our merchants, Shopify has introduced new features that enhance clarity and save time:
- Bank Reference in Payout Exports: Each payout export now includes a bank reference, helping you pinpoint the corresponding bank deposit more effectively.
- Payout ID in Order Transactions Export: Order transaction exports now feature a payout ID, making it easy to track which transactions were included in specific payouts.
Enhanced Merchant Experience
This update is available to all Shopify Payments merchants. By providing more detailed information in export files, we aim to simplify financial reconciliations and improve transparency in your payment processes.
