How Store Credit Segmentation Works
This feature offers the ability to segment your customers using the following criteria:
- Their current store credit balance.
- When their store credit is set to expire.
- The date they last received store credit.
By using these insights, you can create impactful campaigns to remind customers about unused or soon-to-expire store credit, encouraging them to return to your store and make a purchase.
Getting Started with Customer Segments
To access this functionality, navigate to the Customers > Segments section in your Shopify admin. For your convenience, Shopify offers three pre-built segmentation templates to help you hit the ground running:
- Customers with store credit available to spend: Easily identify customers who have unused credit and encourage them to make a purchase.
- Customers with store credit expiring in the next 7 days: Send timely reminders to customers about their expiring credits to prevent them from going unused.
- Customers who have not used their store credit after 1 month: Re-engage lapsed customers who may need a nudge to use their balance.
These templates provide a quick and effective way to engage your customers, driving sales while creating a more personalized shopping experience.
