Manage Business Details with Ease
Shopify has made it simpler to update and manage your store’s business details directly from the General settings page. With the improved Business details section, you can now keep your information up to date for verification and financial services without delays from onboarding or remediation.
Updated Store Address Label
In the Store contact details section, the Billing address label has been updated to Store address. This change better reflects its purpose while maintaining the same functionality. Please note, this update does not affect the way your address is used within Shopify.
Streamlined Currency Settings
Your store’s currency is now automatically determined based on the business country selected in the Business details section. This ensures smoother operations and eliminates the need for additional configurations.
Important Note: If you’re currently using financial products like Shopify Payments or Shopify Capital, you will need to deactivate these services before making any changes to your store’s business country or currency.
- To deactivate financial products, access your Settings and navigate to the corresponding sections.
- Ensure all required changes are finalized before reactivating these products.
