To improve the buying experience and protect merchants, Shopify Markets Pro has introduced order value limits for a subset of countries. Previously, some large-value orders were permitted to proceed through checkout, only to be reversed during order review or denied by Customs upon arrival. These new limits ensure a smoother process for both merchants and buyers while reducing the risk of product loss.
Country-Specific Order Value Limits
Here are the maximum allowable order values for selected countries:
- Argentina: $1,000 USD
- Brazil: $2,999 USD
- China: ¥5,000 CNY
- Indonesia: $1,500 USD
- Mexico: $1,000 USD
- Turkey: €150 EUR
