Introducing the Vertical Workflow Layout
The Flow editor now features a top-to-bottom arrangement for workflows, replacing the previous left-to-right layout. This update optimizes the screen space, making it easier to scroll and manage your workflows effectively.
Key Enhancements in the Vertical Layout
- Streamlined Workflow Visualization: The configuration panel is now aligned on the left, with Sidekick on the right, providing a cleaner workspace.
- More Compact Steps: Steps are visually cleaner with clearly visible selection states, enabling users to focus on key elements.
- Automatic Organization: If your workflow becomes cluttered, simply click "Arrange workflow" in the bottom-left corner to instantly re-organize your steps into a neat vertical flow.
Seamlessly Transition to the Vertical Layout
New workflows automatically adopt the vertical layout. For existing workflows, you can switch anytime using the "Arrange workflow" button. Rest assured, switching to the new layout does not affect how your workflows function.
By early 2026, all workflows will be transitioned to the vertical layout. Switching now allows you to manually adjust step placements if you’ve created a custom arrangement.
