Introducing Personalized Email Notifications with Shopify Flow
Shopify Flow's Send internal email action has been updated to display your store’s sender email address in the From field. Previously, it displayed “flow@shopify.com”. This enhancement ensures your emails appear more professional and align with your store's branding.
What’s Changed?
- New configurations of the Send internal email action will immediately use the sender email address specified for your store.
- Existing workflows will automatically update to use the sender email shortly.
How to Ensure Your Emails Are Sent Correctly
To prevent delivery issues, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings > Notifications in your Shopify admin.
- Make sure your sender email address is properly configured.
- If you use a third-party domain, authenticate your sender email to avoid emails being flagged as spam.
Additionally, recipients may need to adjust their email filtering or forwarding rules to match your custom sender email address rather than the default “flow@shopify.com.”
