Introducing a Streamlined Dispute Process for Shopify Cards
Shopify has made it easier for merchants to dispute transactions on their Shopify Balance or Shopify Credit cards. Previously, disputes for non-fraudulent transactions required contacting Shopify support. This update empowers you to manage disputes directly within your Shopify account.
How the New Dispute Feature Works
The enhanced experience allows you to:
- Select the transaction you want to dispute.
- Choose your dispute reason from multiple predefined options.
- Upload supporting evidence using guided steps tailored to your dispute reason.
- Submit disputes on your own schedule, eliminating the need to wait for support.
- Track the status of your disputes directly in your Shopify account.
Who Can Access This Feature?
This feature is available for all merchants using Shopify Balance or Shopify Credit cards, making it simpler to address unauthorized charges, billing errors, or other eligible disputes.
