Previously, this feature was only available for merchants focusing solely on direct-to-consumer sales. How Does It Work?
We’ve streamlined the process for identifying business customers on orders. When a business customer is detected on a B2B order, the system automatically adjusts the order to use the merchant as the merchant of record. This ensures compliance with necessary regulations since Shopify Markets Pro cannot act as the merchant of record for B2B transactions.
