Exciting Update for Merchants
Shopify has rolled out an important improvement to Shopify Markets Pro. Merchants using app locations or custom fulfillment providers can now apply for and leverage the benefits of Shopify Markets Pro, expanding access to this powerful tool.
What Are App Locations?
App locations are inventory storage points typically managed by dropshipping or print-on-demand apps. They help streamline order fulfillment and optimize supply chain processes for many merchants.
What Has Changed?
Previously, merchants with products stocked at app locations or custom fulfillment providers were not eligible for Shopify Markets Pro. Now, Shopify has removed this barrier, allowing more merchants to take advantage of this feature.
International Shipping Limitations
It is important to note that products stocked at app locations or managed by custom fulfillment providers cannot currently be shipped to countries governed by Markets Pro. During the activation process, international fulfillment for these items will be restricted. However, these products remain eligible for domestic sales, ensuring seamless business operations within your home country.
