Shopify Plus now offers a convenient self-service tool for organization owners to transfer ownership within their organization. This means you no longer need to contact Shopify Support to make changes.
How to Transfer Organization Ownership
- Log in to your Shopify Admin account.
- Navigate to your user profile page.
- Click the “Transfer Ownership” button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the transfer.
This streamlined process is designed to save time and simplify administrative tasks for organization owners.
Important Notes
- This feature is only available for transferring ownership to another internal user within the same organization.
- For transferring ownership to external parties, contacting Shopify Plus Support is still required.
