Overview of the Change
We are updating how products are sold based on shipping zones. The option to 'Sell from all locations to all shipping zones' is being removed. Instead, all stores will now use the 'Sell only within configured shipping zones' option. This update helps prevent issues such as overselling, canceled orders due to stock unavailability, and manual corrections during order fulfillment.
How Does This Affect Your Store?
Checkout Process
At checkout, customers will only be able to purchase items available at a fulfillment location that delivers to their shipping zone. If a product is out of stock for a customer's shipping zone, they won't be able to complete the checkout for that item and will encounter delivery or stock-related messages.
Automatic Migration
This adjustment has already been automatically enabled for the majority of stores. For stores that haven’t been migrated yet, we've issued direct notifications. The official change deadline is September 30th.
