What Is the Remote Logout Feature?
The remote logout feature on POS Go allows merchants to log out of their devices from the Shopify admin panel, providing enhanced security and convenience.
How to Log Out Remotely
Step 1: Access the Devices Tab
Navigate to the Shopify admin panel and select the “Devices” tab under the Point of Sale channel.
Step 2: Select Your Device
From the devices list, choose the specific device you want to log out from.
Step 3: Initiate Remote Logout
Click on the “Log out from store” button to remotely log out the selected device.
Monitoring the Logout Status
Merchants can easily track the logout status in two locations:
- The devices list page in the Shopify admin panel
- The device details page for individual device information
Note: There may be a slight delay of a few seconds before the status update is visible.
