We’ve released an exciting update to our POS Terminal and Customer View app (version 1.25), designed to improve usability and create a seamless experience for both merchants and customers.
Refreshed Screen Designs
The cart, payment, tipping, and receipt screens have been given a refreshed design, making them more intuitive and visually appealing. Additionally, the default idle screen now features animations with support for both light mode and dark mode, ensuring a modern and enjoyable display regardless of your preferences.
Expanded Digital Receipt Options
Customers can now conveniently choose from multiple types of digital receipts. Options include:
- Shop app integration for easy tracking.
- Email receipts for quick confirmation.
- SMS receipt delivery for instant notifications.
- Printed receipts for physical records.
With these options, customers can select the method that works best for them.
Enhanced Product Image Visibility
One of the standout features of this update is the ability for customers to view product images on your customer-facing devices. This allows them to clearly see the items being added to the cart, enhancing transparency and boosting trust.
To manage this feature, navigate to the Display Editor by following these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Click on Devices.
- Select Customer Displays.
Version Compatibility
To access these updates, ensure you’re running POS App version 9.19 and Customer View version 1.25. Keeping your software up-to-date guarantees access to the latest features and improvements.
