Streamlining Markets Pro Payout Communication
Shopify has enhanced the way you manage blocked payouts in Markets Pro. This update eliminates the need to contact support, making the process faster and more efficient for international sales.
What Are Shopify Markets Pro Payouts?
Markets Pro uses a Merchant of Record model for international sales, resulting in payouts that function differently from domestic orders. If a payout is blocked, it means specific actions are required to release the funds.
New Features for Identifying and Resolving Blocked Payouts
- Notification via Shopify Admin: You will now receive a notification with a link in your Shopify admin if a payout is blocked.
- Filtered Order View: Clicking the link takes you to a filtered list of orders with blocked payouts in the Orders page.
- Order-Specific Instructions: Each blocked order displays a banner with step-by-step instructions to release the payout.
Proactively Monitoring Blocked Payouts
To stay ahead, you can monitor blocked payouts in the Finances > Payouts > Transactions section. Orders requiring action will show the payout status as "Action Required." Once resolved, the status updates to "Pending" with a scheduled payout date.
When Will You Receive the Payout?
After meeting the necessary criteria (order fulfillment, valid tracking number, and carrier scan), your payout will be processed. Payments are delivered on the 1st, 8th, 15th, or 22nd of the month based on the release date.
