We’ve enhanced the way shipping services are pre-selected during the purchase of shipping labels on Shopify. This update is designed to save you time and improve the accuracy of shipping label purchases, making your fulfillment process more efficient.

Previously, Shopify defaulted to the last shipping service you used, which could lead to errors or delays for new or varying orders. With this update, Shopify now recommends a service based on:
- Similar orders in your store
- The specific service your customer selected at checkout
For example, if a customer chooses express shipping during checkout and that service is available, it will automatically be pre-selected to streamline your label purchasing process.
