New Languages Available in Shop
We’re excited to announce that Shop has expanded its language support to make shopping more accessible for buyers worldwide. In addition to the four languages previously supported, Shop now includes the following newly enabled languages:
- Czech
- Danish
- Dutch
- Italian
- Lithuanian
- Norwegian
- Polish
- Portuguese
- Romanian
- Swedish
How Language Settings Work
The display language in Shop is determined by the user's device settings if the language setting is supported. Additionally, product pages and merchant-generated content will continue to appear in the languages you've enabled in your store.
Enable Translations in Your Store
To enable translations for your product detail pages (PDPs), use the Translate & Adapt app available in your Shopify admin. This tool helps customize content for global audiences seamlessly.
