Introducing Product Error States in Shopify Collective
Shopify Collective now makes it easier for Retailers to monitor and address product issues. With new features highlighting unsellable products, Retailers can ensure their product listings are always up-to-date and error-free.
What’s New?
1. Product Error Visibility
The newly added "Errors" tab in individual connections allows Retailers to identify products with issues. These products are active on sales channels but currently unsellable due to specific errors.
- Each product in error state shows an alert icon.
- A recommended action is displayed to help resolve the issue promptly.
2. Improved Imported Product Management
Unsellable products in the "Imported" tab now also display:
- An alert icon for quick identification.
- Recommended actions to address errors.
3. Bulk Actions and Filters
To make issue resolution more efficient, bulk actions and an "Errors" filter are now available on both the "Imported" and "Errors" tabs:
- Apply fixes for multiple products simultaneously.
- Easily sort and isolate unsellable items.
Common Product Error Messages
Here are some typical error states and actions Retailers can take:
- Daily variant limit reached: Review and adjust your variant limits.
- Variant limit exceeded: Reduce the number of variants in your store.
- Supplier unpublished product: Contact your Supplier for clarification.
- Supplier removed product access: Confirm product access permissions with the Supplier.
- Supplier deleted product: Remove the product from your store listings.
Stay Proactive with Weekly Email Alerts
Retailers will now receive weekly emails summarizing unsellable products. This ensures necessary actions are taken promptly to improve store performance.
