Key Improvements in File Management
Centralized File Access
With this upgrade, product media is now accessible within the files section under content in the admin. This is a significant step toward media centralization on Shopify.
New Features to Simplify File Management
- Used-In Column: A new column in the content/files section shows where each file is used across Shopify, including Metaobjects, Products, and Brand Settings.
- Used-In Filter: Easily find files used by products by applying this new filter.
- Improved File Selector in Store Editor: The online store editor now includes a redesigned file selector modal that allows merchants to save views, apply filters, and toggle between different types of media seamlessly.
