Enhanced Company Details Management in the Shopify App

Exciting Updates to the Company Details Section

The Company Details section in the Shopify App has been updated as part of version 9.160. These updates bring the mobile experience closer to the web version and unlock features that were previously unavailable. Here is what’s new:

New Features Unlocked for Mobile

  • Reviewing draft orders and overdue payments.
  • Adding new locations with ease.
  • Filtering and sorting the locations list.
  • Editing payment terms for better flexibility.
  • Making changes to catalogs and checkout settings.
  • Editing the main company contact and managing staff permissions.
  • Sending B2B access emails effortlessly.
  • Deleting a company when no longer needed.

Reorganized Features for Better Usability

In addition to new features, changes have been made to improve navigation and simplify workflows:

  • Company information is now located under the Locations list instead of at the top of the screen.
  • Editing the company and removing customers has moved from the top overflow menu to the overflow menu on the Company and Customer cards under the Locations list.
  • The “Create order” action now has a dedicated button under the order list, replacing its previous spot in the overflow menu.
  • Editing a note has been shifted from an icon in the title header to its own card at the bottom of the screen for quicker access.

These updates streamline company management, making it easier for merchants to adjust company details on-the-go directly from the Shopify App.
