Upgraded Scanner Library
We have updated the underlying scanner library to align it with Shopify POS. This upgrade enhances the scanner’s performance by improving accuracy and supporting additional barcode formats.
Compatibility Notes
- GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional, Truncated, Stacked, Stacked Omnidirectional, Expanded, and Expanded Stacked barcodes are incompatible with Android devices on both the current and previous versions.
- Format Code 128 barcodes are incompatible with iPhone 12 on both the current and previous versions.
While barcode support has increased overall, we recommend checking device-specific compatibility for a seamless experience.
