Starting January 28th, Shopify is updating chargeback rate calculations to offer a more complete and consistent analysis of your chargeback risk. These updates will reflect across your admin dashboard, analytics, and notifications.
Inclusion of All Disputes
The updated chargeback rate metric now includes all disputes, including those resolved through programs like Visa's Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR). This expanded view ensures that you gain a comprehensive understanding of chargeback activity.
